Certified quality
The production of our sewing threads and the quality of the materials we use comply with the strict European regulations. Our production is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and our sewing threads meet the strict testing criteria regarding low levels of harmful substances. They are harmless and certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. A&E Gütermann voluntarily undertakes to be regularly inspected and evaluated by independent external certification bodies.
UV resistant and colourfast sewing threads
Our sewing threads are dyed with special dyes and a special finishing method. Thanks to this special dyeing, our threads are UV-resistant and retain their colour for years even under intense irradiation – without fading or discolouration.
