Whether used-look, stone-washed or acid-washed – special finishing methods put stress on the denim fabric. The processing and sewing of denim is also challenging, as the material is particularly robust due to the dense diagonal woven fabric. Different levels of complexity of the seam and numerous layers of sewing material place the highest demands on the sewing thread and its processing. Our threads for denim are very durable and robust.
Denim means variety
Denim comes in different cuts, qualities, washes and colours. The most common use of denim is for jeans. But denim is also used, for example, for upholstered furniture and other clothing or accessories. Nowadays, machines are taking over many seam operations in the production of jeans. The machines guide the sewing thread through many layers of material at very high speed.
